Culturally diverse literature provides a monumental impact on students' knowledge, thought processes, and behavior. It is crucial for teachers to embrace and celebrate diversity through literature. The classroom library is the cornerstone for lesson plans, mentor texts, and independent reading selections based on multiculturalism. Teachers need to understand the importance of culturally diverse literature and know how to appropriately select books for their library. By taking inventory, grouping books according to priority, and "filling in the gaps" of much needed literature, teachers can easily promote diversity and "pass on" their love of diverse literature to their students. After completing this WebQuest teachers should notice an immediate change in their students' response to diverse literature. Exposure expands the mind and encourages unity.
